Premier Li Keqiang arrived in Budapest on Nov 26 local time for the sixth Summit of Heads of Government of China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) and an official visit.

It’s the first trip to Europe by a Chinese leader since the 19th CPC National Congress last month.

China and the 16 Central and Eastern European countries will sign a series of agreements ranging from trade, investment, finance, green economy to tech innovation and cultural exchanges, the Foreign Ministry said.

During his official visit to Hungary, Premier Li will meet with President Janos Ader and Speaker of the National Assembly Laszlo Kover.

The two countries will sign deals covering infrastructure, trade and e-commerce.

Premier Li will visit Russia to attend the 16th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in the city of Sochi from Nov 30 to Dec 1.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Premier Li will also hold bilateral meetings with the leaders from relevant countries.
