Premier Li: China pursues win-win diplomacy

While in the year of 2016, China will continue to pursue peaceful development, cooperation and mutual benefit in its diplomacy as a major power.

Premier Li Keqiang said this in his government work report. He also said China will continue to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and developmental interests.

“We will host the G20 leaders’ summit to promote innovative growth in the global economy and improve global economic and financial governance,” he said.

“We will step up coordination and cooperation with all other major countries and develop with them relations characterized by positive interaction and win-win cooperation.”

“Guided by the policy of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness in developing relations with our neighbours, we will work with other countries in our region to maintain lasting peaceful relations and coordinated and integrated development.”

“We will move faster to strengthen our capacity for safeguarding China’s overseas interests, and protect the safety of Chinese nationals and legal persons.”
