Premier Li meets Pakistan National Assembly Speaker

Premier Li Keqiang met with visiting Pakistan National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Jan 30 in Beijing.

Premier Li spoke highly of China-Pakistan friendship. Li emphasized that China has always prioritized developing bilateral ties with Pakistan and firmly supports Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. China is fully devoted to the development of communication and cooperation in various fields. The Premier pointed out that the construction of an economic corridor has built up a strategic framework of cooperation between the two sides. China hopes the two countries can continue cooperation for the development of the economic corridor, and thus benefit more people. He also said China would like to work together with Pakistan to keep regional stability and prosperity.

Sadiq said that Pakistan would like to work with China to strengthen communication and cooperation in various fields and to better build the China-Pakistan economic corridor to benefit people of both countries.
