Premier Li meets with Latvian president

Premier Li Keqiang met with Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis in Riga, the capital of Latvia, on Nov 4, during his official visit to the country.

Premier Li said China hopes to work with Latvia to exploit supplementary advantages and integrate development strategies for better cooperation in connectivity, infrastructure, trade and investment.

China also hopes to promote cooperation with Latvia in tourism, education and cultural exchanges, and regional cooperation, the Premier added.

Latvia is the third leg of Premier Li’s eight-day Eurasian tour that has already taken him to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. He also will go to Russia.
