Premier Li visits Tsinghua University

Premier Li Keqiang visited Tsinghua University on April 15. The Premier visited an exhibition of the university history and scientific and technological achievements at the history center. He then talked with professors and students at the School of Architecture, before visiting the young research team at the protein research and technology center under the School of Life Sciences.

Premier Li also visited the library, heard the latest report on “Tsinghua bamboo strips” - a collection of Chinese texts dating to the Warring States Period and written in ink on strips of bamboo, which were acquired in 2008 by Tsinghua University. He then communicated with students in the reading room.
