Premier Li Keqiang met Myanmar Vice-President Sai Mauk Kham, who is in China for the first Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Leaders’ Meeting and the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2016, in Sanya, South China’s Hainan province, on March 23.

Premier Li said that China respects the development road that Myanmar has chosen, according to its national conditions. No matter how the situation changes in Myanmar, China will always conduct mutual beneficial cooperation with Myanmar and promote the sustainable development of China-Myanmar relations.
