Premier Li Keqiang is looking forward to better cooperation between China and Croatia during a meeting with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic in Riga, Latvia, on Nov 5.

Premier Li said that China has high regards for Croatia’s efforts to promote the development of China-Croatia relations and advance the cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries.

China is willing to encourage the country’s companies to participate in infrastructure construction in Croatia based on equality, mutual benefit, and win-win principles, hoping that Croatia can provide supportive policies for such efforts, Premier Li said.

He added that China also supports tourism cooperation between the two countries and believes this will not only promote bilateral people-to-people exchanges but also boost mutually beneficial cooperation.

Plenkovic said that Croatia is willing to take the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to strengthen strategic coordination between the two countries, carry out cooperation in equipment manufacturing, and welcome Chinese companies to take part in infrastructure construction in Croatia.
