The practice of free trade accounts should spread to places that meet related requirements, Premier Li Keqiang said when inspecting the Shanghai headquarters of the People’s Bank of China on Nov 25.

In particular, the Premier visited the real-time surveillance room for free trade accounts to learn of the development of the supervisory system.

There has not been a single case of risk event since the establishment of the system, according to an official.

“We have acquired some quite mature experience on the reform of free trade accounts, which should be widely promoted on the basis of enhanced regulation,” Premier Li said.
