Premier Li Keqiang visited 65-year-old Zhu Hongmei in a hospital in Jianli county, Hubei province, on the afternoon of June 2.

Zhu was rescued at noon from the capsized ship on Yangtze River in Jianli county -- an event the Premier hailed as a “miracle”. Premier Li was on the spot giving instructions on the rescue mission when Zhu was rescued.

She told the Premier about how she was rescued; he advised her to save energy and regain her health, and told her that the government will handle the aftermath of the tragedy.

A passenger ship, carrying 458 people, capsized and sank at around 9:28 pm on June 1 in the Hubei section of the Yangtze River.

The Premier arrived at the scene of the accident early on June 2.
