The Premier said that China supports Ecuador’s plan for national industrial development and added that China will utilize its advantages in the equipment manufacturing industry to help Ecuador develop in industries such as steel, metallurgy and shipbuilding. Li hoped that Ecuador continues playing an active role in promoting Sino-CELAC cooperation.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Ecuador relations. Correa said that his visit was not only to celebrate the anniversary, but also an opportunity to deepen bilateral communication and cooperation.
