The State Council reshuffled its work committee for the disabled, according to a circular released on May 22.

State Councilor Wang Yong will be director of the new work committee.

Deputy directors include Meng Yang, deputy secretary-general of the State Council, and Zhang Haidi, chairwoman of the China Disabled Persons’ Federation.

Committee members are from such ministries and departments as the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Development and Reform Commission.
