The Chinese government has compiled a list of historic villages as part of an effort to preserve them. Over 4,000 villages are currently listed, with more being added. CGTN’s Yang Zhao sat down with veteran architect Lyu Pinjing, to discuss the creation of the list and the different approaches taken in dealing with different villages.
