The APEC Ministerial meeting has just concluded after two-days of discussion. The talks bring together foreign and trade ministers from APEC economies once a year in the run up to the Informal Leaders’ Meeting.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Commerce Minister Gao Hucheng hosted this year’s ministerial event.

Strengthening partnerships and improving infrastructure development topped the agenda this year. Discussions also focused on efforts to end corruption in the region. After the meeting, Minister Wang Yi said attendees hailed APEC’s achievements over the past 25 years, and noted its role in setting a new course for the future.
