China ‘shocked’ at Paris attacks

China voiced shock and strong condemnation against the terrorist attacks that caused mass casualties in Paris, France, on the evening of Nov 13, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei in a statement released on Nov 14.

“China mourns deeply for those who were killed in the attacks, and offers sincere condolences to the families who lost their members to the attacks and to those who were wounded by the attacks,” Hong said.

Hong concluded his statement by saying that China supports France in maintaining its national security and combating terrorism, which is a challenge for mankind.
