State councilor meets Australian, New Zealand public servants

State Councilor Yang Jing met with public servants from Australia and New Zealand on Sept 16 in Zhongnanhai, the seat of central government.

Yang welcomed the Australian and New Zealand guests, who are in Beijing to attend a seminar for senior public servants at the National School of Administration of China.

Yang, also head of the National School of Administration, said the seminar is conducive to promoting sound momentum in the development of bilateral relations and enhancing understanding and trust between China and the two countries.

Yang briefed the guests about the social and economic development of China and governance of the country.

The Australian and New Zealand public servants will participate in sessions at the National School of Administration and visit the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in North China, as well as Shanghai in East China and Sichuan province in the southwest.
