BEIJING — Vice-Premier Han Zheng will visit Russia and Singapore respectively from Sept 16 to 18 and Sept 19 to 21, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Geng Shuang announced on Sept 14.
Han, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will visit Russia at the invitation of the Russian government. He will hold the fifth meeting of the China-Russia Investment Cooperation Committee with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Anton Siluanov, and hold the 15th meeting of the China-Russia Energy Cooperation Committee with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak.
Han will visit Singapore at the invitation of Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean. Han and Teo will co-chair the 14th China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation Meeting, the 19th China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Joint Steering Council Meeting, the 10th China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Joint Steering Council Meeting, and the second China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity Joint Steering Council Meeting.
