Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli met with US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz in Beijing on March 16, calling for closer energy cooperation between the two nations.
During the meeting at the Great Hall of the People, Vice-Premier Zhang hailed fruitful China-US cooperation on energy and addressing climate change.
He said he hoped for closer practical cooperation in nuclear energy, power grids, clean energy and low-carbon city to help global efforts to achieve sustainable development and address climate change.
