Vice-Premier Wang Yang urged consolidating State Council measures for accurate poverty alleviation at a seminar on March 2.

He said that accurate support would help in registering people living in poverty with a focus on solving their difficulties in education, medical care and housing.

Every village and household should think of their own solutions so that the government can direct related resources and support measures appropriately, Wang said.

The vice-premier also called for improving supporting measures such as beefing up financial investment and supervision.
