Vice-Premier Wang Yang on Dec 16 met with a delegation led by Petteri Taalas in Beijing. Taalas is director-general of the Finnish Meteorological Institute and the next secretary-general of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), starting Jan 1, 2016.
The two sides exchanged ideas on expanding global meteorological cooperation.
