China will work with France for the success of the Paris climate change talks at the end of the year, Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli said during a meeting on Sept 15 with Jacques Audibert, diplomatic advisor to the French President.

Zhang said the Chinese government attaches great importance to climate change. It has adopted green, low carbon and recyclable growth in its drive to build a sound environment.

He said the Chinese side is ready to strengthen communication and coordination with France to jointly push for the success of the Paris talks according to the principles of “common but differentiated responsibilities”, equity and capabilities.
