Vice-Premier Liu Yandong will attend the third round of the China-EU High-Level People-to-People Dialogue in Brussels and the third round of the China-UK High-Level People-to-People dialogue in Britain from Sept 14 to 20.
The third round of the China-EU High-Level People-to-People Dialogue, focused on diversity and mutual learning, will be held in Brussels, where the vice-premier will jointly host the event and sign a joint declaration with Tibor Navracsiscs, the European Union commissioner for education, culture, youth and sport.
During the visit in Brussels, the vice-premier will attend the unveiling ceremony of the Chinese culture center and deliver a speech at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Then, the vice-premier will attend the third round of the China-UK High-Level People-to-People Dialogue, which will be focused on cultural cooperation and future of China-UK friendship. She will host the meeting and sign a joint declaration with Jeremy Hunt, secretary of state for health.
In Britain, the vice-premier will also attend several meetings to discuss cooperation in youth exchange, health policy, cultural exchange, and football. She will also visit Wales to attend a meeting on technology innovation, visit Cardiff University and deliver a speech at the China-UK technology innovation forum.
