Vice-premier meets Malaysian Deputy PM in Beijing

Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli said on Dec 1 that China is ready to work with Malaysia to advance cooperation in the areas of trade, finance, infrastructure development and technology.

Zhang made the remarks as he met with Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing in the afternoon of Dec 1.

Zhang said that the two countries have maintained healthy and rapid growth of bilateral ties as they celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

Zhang said the two countries enjoy a high degree of mutual trust, close contact between their leaders and senior officials, deep and broad cooperation and frequent exchanges between the two peoples.

He said China is ready to further implement the important consensus the two countries’ leaders reached by enhancing strategic trust, deepening practical cooperation and improving bilateral ties.

Muhyiddin expressed readiness to advance bilateral relations to a new height.
