State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi held talks with Thai Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam on May 31 in Beijing.

Zhao said the meeting between President Xi Jinping and Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha during the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation gave impetus to the development of the bilateral ties.

The state councilor said that the bilateral law enforcement cooperation should focus on asset recovery, apprehending fugitives, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism and ensuring the security of the Belt and Road construction.

Wissanu said Thailand is willing to cooperate in law enforcement and security with China and further in-depth development of the bilateral ties.
