State Councilor and Public Security Minister Guo Shengkun on Aug 14 again went to the blast site in Tianjin to direct rescue operations. Guo stressed that rescue workers should make every effort to save people as long as there’s any hope of survivors.
Guo received an update on the rescue effort and discussed the rescue plan with local Party leaders and those from the government, army, armed police, police security and commanders of fire brigades.
