State Councilor Yang Jiechi met Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov in Beijing on July 24.

China attaches great importance to its relations with Tajikstan and hopes the two countries will strengthen support for each other, deepen reciprocal cooperation and work together to develop the Silk Road Economic Belt.

Tajiskstan hopes to take the opportunity of developing the Silk Road Economic Belt to deepen its cooperation with China, said Aslov.
