China supports work of INCOSAI

State Councilor Yang Jing said Thursday that the Chinese government will continue to support the work of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions(INCOSAI).

Yang, who is also the Secretary-General of the State Council, made the remarks while meeting the delegates to the 21st INCOSAI Congress in Beijing.

With the Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO) of China becoming head of INCOSAI, Yang said the Chinese government will, as always, support the work of INCOSAI.

Yang said INCOSAI has promoted communication and cooperation among its members since it was founded 60 years ago. China is willing to support cooperation between the NAO and national audit institutions from other countries.

The 21st INCOSAI Congress opened in Beijing Tuesday. Nearly 700 delegates from some 160 countries attended the opening ceremony.
