NINGBO - State Councilor Yang Jiechi on June 8 met with foreign representatives attending a ministerial meeting on economic and trade promotion between China and Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries in the city of Ningbo, East China’s Zhejiang Province.

Hailing the profound friendship and longtime cooperation between China and the CEE countries, Yang said the CEE countries are one of the regions with the most economic dynamism and potentials while China’s reform and opening-up is moving into a new stage.

Yang hoped both sides could strengthen exchanges and innovation to advance the investment and trade cooperation in breadth and depth to achieve win-win results.

Representatives from the CEE countries expressed optimism about China’s economic prospect and their willingness to enhance cooperation with China to look for more development opportunities.
