BEIJING — A weeklong campaign started on May 21 in Beijing to help to equip people with knowledge of drug safety via a series of activities.

The campaign, called “Drug, Science and Technology Week”, is being held by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), and includes activities like open days and public interest activities on campus.

It aims to help the public better understand the relationship between scientific innovation and drug safety, and is an important part of improving the quality and level of people’s health condition, according to the official of NMPA.

The campaign will last until May 26 with a variety of themed activities being held across the country.
