There will be no price increase for gas and diesel with rates put on hold until the next round of adjustments, according to the National Development and Reform Commission.

The global price of crude oil has fluctuated since the end of last month and it is estimated that the adjustment will be no more than 50 Yuan ($7.98) per ton, comparing the average price of the 10 working days before March 12 with that of the 10 working days before Feb 27.

According to Article Six of the Administrative Measures for Oil Prices (For Trial Implementation), there will be no adjustment this time and figures will be considered again in the next round.
