Premier Li Keqiang makes his first visit to Canada

In Canada, Premier Li Keqiang has made his first official visit to the country. Premier Li has said that Beijing and Ottawa are exploring a potential free trade agreement.

He made the remarks while addressing the press along with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Premier Li added that the two sides also discussed cooperation in finance, tourism and law enforcement.

The Premier said that stronger China-Canada relations are in the interests of both nations and their people.
