Premier Li Keqiang says China will work with France to deepen political trust and promote cooperation in emerging sectors to create new sources of growth.

Premier Li met with French President Francois Hollande in Beijing on Nov 3. He said senior officials have maintained frequent exchanges as the two sides strengthened cooperation in nuclear energy, finance, sustainable development and other areas. He also called for more cultural exchanges.

The Premier said the two sides should make good use of a mutual fund to jointly explore third-party markets. He also expressed hopes that France could make more efforts in visa facilitation and help enhance China-EU ties.

Hollande pledged to expand cooperation with China and make trade and other exchanges more convenient.
