Premier Li meets with ROK National Assembly speaker

Premier Li met with Chung Ui-hwa, speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, in Seoul on Nov 1.

Premier Li vowed to promote bilateral ties to a new level and said that China hopes the two sides can strengthen cooperation in various fields and that the ROK National Assembly can continue to play a major role in promoting bilateral ties.

Chung said President Park Geun-hye and Premier Li had a successful meeting on Oct 31 and made fruitful achievements. He promised the ROK will be China’s good neighbor, friend, and partner forever. Chung added that the ROK National Assembly is committed to completing the domestic legislative process of the China-ROK Free Trade Agreement by the end of the year.
