Premier Li meets US business delegation in Beijing

Premier Li Keqiang met with US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker in Beijing on April 13, to discuss boosting trade ties between the two nations.

Premier Li said business and trade are key to China-US relations, and both sides need to improve cooperation in fields like infrastructure, energy, and environmental protection. Premier Li also said he hopes a high-level business deal can be reached, to improve trade and investment between the two sides.

The US delegation also includes deputy Energy Secretary Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, as well as 25 American companies. Pritzke also met with her Chinese counterpart Gao Hucheng and Vice-Premier Wang Yang on April 13.
