Premier Li Keqiang is on the last day of his three-day visit to Russia. Earlier on Oct 14, Premier Li delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Open Innovations International Forum, which is dedicated to emerging technologies and cooperation in the field of innovation.
Premier Li is also expected to meet on Oct 14 with Russian President Vladimir Putin. But most of the activities took place on Oct 13, when Premier Li and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev witnessed the signing of wide-ranging deals.
During the meeting, Premier Li said the frequent talks between Chinese and Russian leaders signalled that bilateral relations were strategic, stable and long term.
Medvedev also hailed ties. He said Russia was willing to promote large-scale investments, and to advance cooperation in areas covering transportation, infrastructure, and aviation.
