Premier Li Keqiang has delivered the keynote speech at the Hamburg Summit.
Under the theme of “China meets Europe”, Premier Li talked about the key to China-Europe cooperation. He said the most important foundation for the cooperation between China and Europe is the economic and trade cooperation.
Li also talked about China’s domestic economic growth and the key targets of creating urban jobs and increasing household income levels. More importantly, he noted the opening up of China’s economy.
The Hamburg Summit has been held every two years since 2004. It has been a key platform for fostering Sino-European and Sino-German relations. This year’s event is said to be the biggest ever, with more than 500 government officials, business leaders and academics participating.
