Premier Li Keqiang meets leaders before closing ceremony

The 2014 Youth Olympic Games concluded on the evening of Aug 28, in the eastern Chinese city of Nanjing, with Premier Li Keqiang attending the ceremony.

In the afternoon, Premier Li met some of the other leaders who were also in Nanjing to attend the ceremony. There was Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, prime minister of Djibouti. Premier Li said China-Djibouti relations have become an example for achieving win-win cooperation and common development.

Li said China will support Djibouti to develop regional logistic hubs and ports and help the country improve people’s livelihoods. Premier Li also met Roger Kolo, prime minister of Madagascar.

Premier Li said China would like to cooperate with Madagascar in energy, agriculture and poverty relief. He said China will support Madagascar to build special economic and industrial zones.

Li told Josip Leko, the Croatian Speaker of Parliament, that China would continue to work with Croatia to boost trade, especially in infrastructure, transport and equipment manufacturing industries.
