Inspection tour to Guizhou (Feb 13-15)

During the inspection tour to Guizhou province, Premier Li Keqiang visited a Liping county market, a local clinic and a poor villager’s home in Pudong village, the Beijing-Guiyang Center of Big Data Application and Display, an ethnic handicraft workshop in Zhaoxing, and the construction site of provincial capital Guiyang’s Line 1 light rail.

Inspection tour to Fujian (April 22-24)

During the inspection tour to Fujian province, Premier Li Keqiang visited the newly inaugurated China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Xiamen University, TPK Touch Solutions Inc, Pin Shang e-commerce Co, and J-TECH CNC Machinery Co, and held a seminar with 11 Taiwan business leaders who have invested in Fujian.

Tour to Hubei to lead sunken ship rescue efforts (June 2-3)

Premier Li Keqiang paid a visit to Jianli county, Hubei province, to lead rescue efforts after a passenger ship, named Dongfangzhixing (Eastern Star), carrying 458 people sank on June 1 in the Hubei section of China’s Yangtze River.

Premier Li Keqiang hosted the fourth leaders’ meeting of China and the Central and Eastern European countries in Suzhou and then made an inspection tour to Shanghai from Nov 24-25. During the inspection tour, the Premier visited the administrative service center at the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and the Shanghai headquarters of the People’s Bank of China.
