Premier Li Keqiang visited a pioneer park for farmers in Mengzhuang town of Xinzheng city, Central China’s Henan province and inquired about loans catering for farmer entrepreneurs during his tour to the province on Sept 24.

Premier Li Keqiang made an inspection visit to the farmers’ innovation park at Mengzhuang Town, Xinzheng, Henan province, on Sept 24.

The park is home to 98 small and micro-sized enterprises, with 53 belonging to migrant workers who have returned to their hometowns. Thanks to these startups, thousands of local farmers have become industrial workers.

The Premier told them that by clearing barriers and creating opportunities, the government hopes to lead more fellow villagers to start their own businesses and become rich, so as to support the city-industry integration - a new type of urbanization.
