Sino-Kazakh ties lauded

Premier Li Keqiang held talks on Sept 1 with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev who is in Beijing for a state visit and to attend activities commemorating the 70th anniversary of victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and World War II.

Li said all-round strategic partnership between China and Kazakhstan has entered a new stage, stressing that China is willing to promote bilateral ties by expanding trade and commercial cooperation, enhancing cultural exchanges and making frequent coordination in international and regional affairs.

The Premier also pointed out that the two countries have reached agreements on broad projects since capacity cooperation was launched six months ago. He hoped the two could realize their smooth cooperation by making full use of financing mechanisms and encouraging personnel exchanges so as to better deal with the complex economic situations of international society.

Nazarbayev said his country is ready to implement capacity cooperation with China, seek diversity of bilateral trade and enhance interconnection construction, initiating a new era for China-Kazakhstan ties.
