Premier Li Keqiang discussed rescue plans with experts upon reaching the Yangtze river by boat after arriving at the scene of the passenger ship accident in Jianli county, Hubei province.

The rescue center is only 50-60 meters away from where the ship capsized.

The Dongfangzhixing (Eastern Star), carrying 458 people, capsized and sank at around 9:28 pm on June 1 in the Hubei section of the river, according to Hubei provincial government emergency office.
