Premier Li Keqiang visited the construction site of Guiyang’s Line 1 light rail on Feb 14, to see the progress of the project.

Most of the workers at the construction site are from rural regions, and Li praised them, saying they are “heroes of the city’s development” - and he asked Guiyang provincial leaders to invite the workers to ride on the first Line 1 train after the project is completed.
