Traveling along a scary cliffside road for an hour, Premier Li Keqiang arrived at Pudong village, a remote village of Dong people in the mountainous area of Liping county, Guizhou province on the afternoon of Feb 13. With 43 percent of its people living under the poverty line and an annual net income of 2,160 yuan per capita, it is one of the most impoverished villages in China.
