Premier sends congratulations to 22nd International Economic Fair Mostar

BEIJING — Premier Li Keqiang sent a congratulatory message to the 22nd International Economic Fair Mostar, which opened in Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on April 9.

In the message, Premier Li said that China’s relations with Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC), including BiH, have been maintaining a good momentum of growth for a long time, and the two sides have embarked on fruitful cooperation of mutual benefit via platforms such as China-CEEC cooperation.

China is willing to work together with Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries to further expand two-way cooperation, promote two-way trade, and keep enhancing the level of economic and trade cooperation so as to bring more benefits to the peoples of both sides, the Premier said.

The Fair Mostar is an important fair in the region, and China, as the main guest of honor, will focus on displaying cost-effective quality products in the areas like infrastructure, high-tech equipment, agriculture and household appliances so as to bring more choices for consumers in CEE countries, he said.

“We also encourage Chinese enterprises to establish plants in the region according to the demand of local market and enhance localization of their products to help boost local social and economic development and the livelihood of local people,” the Premier said.
