Premier leaves for official visit to Singapore

Premier Li Keqiang left Beijing on the morning of Nov 12 for an official visit to Singapore.

He will attend the 21st China-ASEAN (10+1) leaders’ meeting, the 21st ASEAN-China, Japan and Republic of Korea (10+3) leaders’ meeting, and the 13th East Asia Summit during this visit.

This is the first visit to Singapore by a Chinese premier in 11 years.

During the visit, Premier Li will exchange views with the leaders of Singapore on regional cooperation, multilateral trading system and important issues of common concern, to promote upgrading China-ASEAN cooperation, and push East Asian cooperation to a new level.
