Premier Li expresses condolence to Russian PM over metro explosion

Premier Li Keqiang on April 4 expressed his condolence to his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, over the metro explosion in St. Petersburg.

He said he was shocked to learn that the metro explosion resulted in serious injuries and casualties in Russia, and that China strongly condemns terrorism.

“On behalf of the Chinese government and the Chinese people, I would like to offer my deep condolence to the victims and express my sincere sympathy to the families of the victims,” the Premier said.

Premier Li also said China is willing to confront all forms of terrorism with Russia to safeguard peace and security in the two countries and the world.
