Premier Li sends condolences over terror attack in Pakistan

Premier Li Keqiang on Feb 17 sent a message of condolences to Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over a deadly terrorist attack in Sehwan town of Pakistan’s south Sindh province.

In the message, Premier Li said he was shocked by the attack on Feb 16 that left huge casualties in Pakistan, and the Chinese people deeply sympathized with the Pakistani people for their misfortune.

Premier Li, on behalf of the Chinese government, extended deep condolences to the families of the victims while expressing sympathy to the injured.

China opposes terrorism in all forms and strongly condemns this terrorist attack, the Premier said.

China will continue to firmly support Pakistan’s efforts to combat terrorism, safeguard national stability and protect people’s lives, he said.
