Premier Li hailed the development of Macao during a meeting with Ho Hau Wah, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and former chief executive of the Macao special administrative region, at the East Asian Games Dome in Macao on Oct 10.

Thanks to the principle of “one country, two systems” and the people of Macao governing Macao, the special administrative region has witnessed dramatic economic and social changes since its return to China in 1999, Premier Li said.

The Premier also spoke highly of Ho’s creative and fundamental work during his term as Macao’s chief executive.
