Premier Li leaves Beijing for Mongolia visit

Premier Li Keqiang left Beijing on July 13 for an official visit to Mongolia, a trip that signifies the importance of the upcoming 11th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit in Ulaanbaatar, the Mongolian capital, from July 15 to 16.

Premier Li’s visit coincides with the establishment of the new Mongolian administration and the 20th anniversary of the founding of ASEM.

The Premier’s visit will bring a new impetus to China-Mongolia relations. It will make important contributions to boosting dialogue and cooperation among Asian and European countries, and promoting bilateral ties between China and other countries who attend the summit.
