Premier Li Keqiang expressed condolences over the deaths and injuries in a shooting in Orlando, Florida, on June 12.

The Premier said that China opposes any kind of terrorism, and expressed grief over the dead victims. He also extended regards to the injured and their families and hoped for their recovery.

The Premier made the remarks during his meeting with the press with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on June 13.

Merkel also expressed condolences to the victims and sympathy to their families.
