Premier Li conveys condolences to Abe over quake in Japan

Premier Li Keqiang offered condolences to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe after a strong earthquake hit Kumamoto prefecture in southwest Japan on April 20.

Premier Li said that on behalf of the Chinese government and the Chinese people, he sends deep condolences to Japan.

“I believe the Japanese government and people will overcome the difficulties and rebuild their homeland,” said Premier Li.

“China will continue to follow the developments of the disaster and is willing to offer any necessary help.”
